Frequently Asked Questions
Your GPA is calculated by multiplying your course grade value (e.g., an 'A' equals 4.0) by the number of credits the course is worth to get "Grade Points". Then, you divide the total Grade Points by the total number of credits you took.
If your high school or college does not use a credit system and treats all classes equally, simply enter "1" in the credit box for every single course. This will give you an unweighted, standard GPA average.
This depends entirely on your education level and institution. However, universally, a 3.0 (which is a solid 'B' average) is considered good, while a 3.5 to 4.0 is considered excellent and is often required for scholarships or top-tier universities.
